Overheating engines are no laughing matter, causing the owner, never mind the engine, to get all steamed up! Usually a simple fix is all that is required, a new rad cap or thermostat is quite often all it takes.
However, if a previous owner has used incorrect coolant or ignored service schedules requiring a purging and replenishing of the correct coolant at set kilometers/mileage then more problems can be expected.
