Introduced in 1978, the DS80 air-cooled reed valve two stroke was a twin shock entry level Junior Enduro machine producing around 8hp and weighing 65kg.
The model evolved with lay down rear shocks, eventually to Mono-shock and aluminium swing arms by the end of its long production run in the year 2000.
Many a top flight Enduro star of today cut their teeth on these Suzuki two strokes, that with a five speed box and manual clutch were proper competition machines just scaled down.
