Engine cooling systems are only as good as their weakest link - Radiator, hose clips, water hose, even corroding fasteners can get you all steamed up if not perfect!
If in doubt simply replace the old degraded parts with new components. It will be less expensive than the damage caused to the engine by overheating!

Why not order all the gaskets and seals you require at the same time? Pro-workshop gasket sealant 08CRAHLG120G. Highly recommended! You may require a new cap 4FL1246200 & bolts 9581706025 9581706012 9581706025 (everything looks better with new bolts!).
This component may have other, sometimes unrelated applications within the Yamaha model range, so please always check by the part-number rather than the description prior to ordering.
