V-Twin puts out a healthy 50bhp, not much by Sports Bike standards, but it’s mid range punch makes it superb for powering up inclines with 50 kilos of luggage aboard, try that two up on an R6!

This is now the machine of choice for those wishing to circumnavigate the planet, or just pop into town to get a curry! It is that type of bike, fun to ride 10k’s or 10,000k’s,desert or highway…the Africa really lives up to it’s name, and the second hand values of low mileage examples, when you can find them, demonstrate some of the healthiest residuals of any used motorcycles.
