An der XRV 750 ist das Ritzel nur über dieses Sicherungsblech gesichert. Schon bei leicht verschlissener Verzahnung an der Getriebewelle schiebt das Ritzel das Blech verstärkt an die äußere Verzahnung der Welle. Das Sicherungsblech läuft ein. Es sollte daher öfters getauscht werden, besonders wenn der Verschleiss schon sichtbar wird.
