The Cam Chain Tensioner should be replaced during the course of any engine rebuild. This is a precision part, and by complimenting it with a correct specification cam-chain, you know the quality is 100%!
We recommend when replacing this item, you should consider a new cam-chain and cam-sprocket to make sure no damage occurs to the new parts, by old and worn out items

  • It is not recommended to interface old worn items with new on the cam-chain tensioner assembly.
  • Don't forget to order all the gaskets and seals you may require - try this gasket sealant: 08C70K0234M as used by factory professionals.
  • Choose a high quality cam-chain and ensure accurate valve timing combined with long term durability.
