It is so important that the valve springs along with these new Valve Spring Seats are renewed with brand new items when reassembling the engine. Reusing the old parts may lead to gas leakage or even engine failure, allowing the valve to bounce into the top of the piston or tangle up with the other valve!
Remember to replace both inner and outer springs in unison.

It is good policy to replace the valve, collets, seats and valve stem seals at the same time.
