Good product, but why not the whole package?

The time had come to change the chain and sprockets. I did search the site and the parts list, but could not find the chain and sprockets as a set as is often seen elsewhere. I know these things comes in different sizes, but from a consumers point of view it makes sense to order chain and sprockets as a set as they are always to be replaced as such.

Anyway, I ended up also ordering the sprockets, part-no.41200MW3970 and 23801MW3700. It was as easy to replace as most standard parts, the fit was low tolerance, snug as you could expect in this day and age. The chain was riveted with the Whale 50 chain-cutter/riveter.

The surprise was when everything was assembled and I started my ride. The previous owner of my bike had used an unoriginal chain/sprocket-set, it had done it's time. So much to my surprise the new chain was quiet. Dead silent. The CB 750F2t is not a noisy thing in the first place, the new parts made it even quieter.

Another very neat feature is that the chain comes with the little a little sticker. Not all chains do. As you install and adjust the chain tension for the first time you put on the sticker by the arrow on the rear axle adjuster. As the chain and sprockets are worn and adjusted the arrow will reach the red zone on the sticker telling you it's time to replace parts again.

I also noticed the O-rings are of the modern variety. They are not really O-rings anymore, the cross-section resembling an X. This gives not one, but two seals for every side of the ring.

So all in all, great product: Quiet, smooth running, easy to install, gives the user EASY means to determine when the part is worn out. But why not sell the whole pacage?
