Cb350K4 Fork Ears (covers)

I ordered what ended up appearing to be NOS right and left top fork covers for a 1972 CB350K, in Candy Gold. The size of each is spot on and the paint color is a pretty darn good match to my bike's original bodywork. They arrived is excellent condition. When I opened the box upon arrival I felt like I was transported back in time 45 years ago. At the same time, I ordered matching lower fork covers. Unfortunately, although they were packed in the same box, they were slightly dinged and bent. When I tried to straighten out the bent areas, the paint flaked off in a small section. It's not terribly noticeable and I will use touch-up paint to fix. Just a bit disappointing. Nevertheless, the price paid for these new (NOS?) parts was an extremely good value. Once installed, I'm confident it will shave years off the look of my bike!
