Er is niets zo vervelend dan te constateren dat na een olie- en filterwissel er lekkage optreed tussen het filterhuis en het motorblok. De O-ring is de boosdoener terwijl er een nieuwe o-ring is gemonteerd die bij het after market filter (niet cmsnl) geleverd wordt. Olie er weer uit en checken. Wat blijkt? De bijgeleverde o-ring heeft een snoerdikte van 3,7 mm in plaats van de 4,5 mm die door honda wordt voorgeschreven.
De o-ringen van cmsnl die ik daarna besteld heb en snel geleverd kreeg zijn resp. 4,2 mm voor de originele Honda ring en 4,3 mm voor de merkloze ring (aternative part). De ringen zijn beide perfect. Ze klemmen goed vast in het filterhuis waardoor ze niet verschuiven bij de montage en geen druppel lekkage meer.
