Sloppily located pillion footrests are always a problem on older machinery, and present a problem that is not easy to remedy, without resorting to machining over-size pivot pin holes with new oversize pivot pins to match! Easier and less expensive to replace these assemblies with brand new genuine Yamaha parts.
