Yamaha XV1600 information
With a capacity greater than many cars this 1602cc push-rod V twin put out an incredible
134.3nm of torque. Launched in 1999 the model has never looked back, and is still the yard stick by which to judge any large capacity machine claiming ‘Cruiser’ status.
It is fair to say Yamaha shocked the motorcycling world when they launched the ‘Road Star’ which as a 1700cc version, is in production today, with sales as buoyant as ever, showing Yamaha know exactly what they are doing when it comes to producing class leading cruisers!
