XJ550 SECA 1981 (B) USA

Introduced in 1981 this double overhead cam middleweight ,was a solid all rounder, and despite it’s weight makes a good machine for the shorter rider due to a low seat height.
It’s 50bhp was never going to set the World on fire, particularly as it topped 200kg, but it was a well made and totally reliable middle order machine capable of topping 110mph.
Later models had power increases, and their reliability won the model many friends in the London despatch riders scene.
