Superb crisp disc-valve two stroke sports bike made from 1978 to 1993. The GP standing for Grand Prix, this great little 12hp @ 8500rpm machine was easily able to top 70mph (110kph) and it’s light 101kg herb weight gave it agile handling to match. Suzuki at this time were leading the Grand Prix world with their RG500 square four machinery, running disc valve induction of course! This meant a lot to impressionable youngsters at that time, and delivered good sales of these models throughout Europe. In fact the only machine in it’s class that was better was Suzuki’s own GP125!
