GASKET, EXHAUST PIPE (NAS)

Renew this gasket whenever the exhaust is removed and re-fitted. This will help stop back firing caused by air entering the exhausts system. Backfiring can damage the silencer baffles as well as other parts of the system.

• Expensive as gaskets go - but don't skimp by re-using the old one!
• Leaking exhausts cause the motor to run too hot with the very real potential for mechanical damage
