The clutch thrust bearing has a tough life wearing all the time when the clutch is held in at traffic lights or road junctions. When it starts becoming noisy, make sure you replace it with a genuine Yamaha bearing that is precision engineered both for hardness and dimensions.

• Renew this bearing whenever you have to carry out clutch maintenance - It may be more convenient than having to do it later anyway!
