The key to any successful carburettor overhaul is to renew all the Jets, including this Main Jet, spring screws and possibly the float assembly and Needle. Also check the throttle slide for any play in the throttle bore.

• Order new carburettor seals and gaskets at the same time.
• Consider new throttle cables as well.
