Important retention nut for the speedometer setting bolt. It is easier to renew this part than trying to use the corroded item that may also have damage to the thread causing more frustration.

To ensure you have a frustration free restoration, well nearly frustration free, all restorations have their problems, go to the online schematic and ensure you renew all the fasteners for the area of the machine you are working on. They don't cost much, and will save hours of time, and of course look so much better!
