The key to any successful carburettor overhaul is to renew as many of the jets and along with this main jet, as possible. The old Jet will be worn, making it difficult to keep the carburettor in tune if you can even tune it to start with.

• Order new carburettor seals and gaskets at the same time.
• Consider new throttle cables as well.
