Launched in 1973, this was advertised by Honda as being ideal for the average car driver! The Honda ‘Nobio’ with an Air cooled automatic two stroke gave out 1.8hp @ 4000rpm from it’s 49cc engine. It featured front and rear suspension, that was not always the case on other ‘Bicycle’ derived mopeds from European makers, but of course that was the point about Honda mopeds, they were designed from the ground up, where other European’s at that time still had the Motorised Bicycle fixation!
