Introduced in 1988, this capable little off road/enduro machine was fitted with the five speed single overhead cam four stroke motor, and with a gentle power band and quiet running endeared itself to novice riders, and the more mature trail riders, who didn’t wish to get where they were going to quickly!
It’s four stroke reliability and Honda build quality also made it a favourite for camper vans, who actually counted for a great deal of the sales success of this model, the electric starter helping sway the sale in it’s favour against the kick start two stroke opposition!
