Known as the Ascot when launched mainly for US consumption in 1982. A pretty unremarkable 500 single, using the 4 valve single overhead cam engine used in so many Honda thumpers from the period, including the classic GB500 TT model.
With just 34bhp, it was never a fireball, but the way that classic single delivers the power is a joy, and that engine is still used to this day in the Japan market CB400SS.
Now this model has achieved classic status, not to quite the same extent as the GB, but still has residuals that are definitely on the up.
