The concept first aired to the public in 1958 wit the Super cub, and with automatic clutch and three speeds, made other low price commuting two wheelers pretty much obsolete, and at the same time, this profitable model line allowed Honda to develop a race programme, which bought more success and fame, culminating in the Worlds largest motorcycle manufacturer with manufacturing plants in every continent of the World, as well as in Japan.
