The oil pump assembly, as you will be aware, is of critical importance - without a full supply of lubricating, cooling oil(and that is important on air cooled engines with only just over 1 litre of oil capacity!)the newly refurbished engine will suffer excessive wear and even possible damage.

If the old Pump Rod is worn or damaged renewal is the best policy!
