The engine was surprisingly punchy, in the middle rev range, another aid towards confident riding.
The single overhead cam twin’s engine owes it’s existence to early sports 125’s from the late 1970’s, and is more or less bullet proof, providing service schedules are maintained.
Produced from 1995 through to1999, these models still hold good residual values, and have become something of a cult, with various online forums dedicated to them!
Not only is the build quality as you might expect, the styling is also pretty much spot-on, which is not always the case for entry level cruisers!
