Ensure air only enters the carburettor via the air filter system by using only a genuine Yamaha hose clamp (Jubilee clip for English enthusiasts!). It is designed to clamp the hose into the recess on the carburettor body helping it towards being 100% airtight. This means no weak mixture and fewer damaging particles entering the engine.
