Needle roller bearings and the bushes they fit in are the critical areas of the swing-arm pivot linkage.

Any play will manifest itself with poor handling, a feeling of detachment of the rear end of the machine. If you are experiencing handling problems try renewing these bearings and their respective bushes at the same time?
