Don't be tempted to use a similar none OE bolt in the chain adjuster. Why? For two reasons, well three actually.

The thread is an unusual pitch, and the bolt an unusual diameter, and the end is slightly pointed to fit the matching depression in the axle bracket.

Actually there is a fourth reason; the correct aesthetic!

• Order new lock nuts at the same time.
• This will make sure the rear of the swing arm/ axle area has the correct aesthetic.
