Perhaps the most important anti-vibration part of the motorcycle. These dampers not only locate the fuel tank they protect it from the very real danger of cracking due to high frequency vibration. Cracks usually meant the tank is at best going to be expensive to repair or at worse require complete replacement.

• Regular replacement is strongly advised due to the damper degrading over time
