It is pretty much essential to replace these Dowel pins when rebuilding the engine to make sure the castings line up precisely with the crankcase. The old dowels could be slightly worn leading to alignment problems!
Renew for perfect precision. Don't forget to order the seals and gaskets you will need to complete your engine build.
