N'hésitez pas à changer votre poignée usée et devenue lisse par une neuve. C'est le seul modèle qui se monte bien et permet une conduite confortable en douceur.
N'oubliez pas que cette poignée se monte sur un guidon parfaitement bien dégraissé, dérouillée et repeint avec de la peinture automobile en bombe. Il ne faut pas mettre de graisse pour permettre une rotation souple et sans effort. La cocotte avec les contacts doit être disposée de manière à avoir son dessus à l'horizontale en laissant un jeu de 2~3 mm à cette poignée afin de ne pas la coincer au bout extérieur du guidon. Les extrémités de câble sont à graisser légèrement.
