If the crankshaft needs to be renewed, then do so along with the other components that make up the assembly including all new bearings, connecting rods, pistons, piston rings, piston pin and the piston pin retention circlips - all pretty much essential when rebuilding the engine. Attempting to save money by reusing old parts is a false economy and may lead to premature wear or even failure of some of those new parts, particularly bearings.
