This little pin forms part of the Oil Pump operating cable link assembly on the T20/TC250.

This is a more complex assembly that that on most other bikes of the era; instead of a simple cable into a lever arm, the link uses two plastic/metal clips, a complex wire 'spring', this pin, and a split pin, and is often missing from bikes these days. As a concours judge, this is just the sort of detail I would be looking for when differentiating between 'nice' restorations with 'winning' restorations.
