Renewing these spacers when renewing the pivot bushes will help keep the swing arm free of play and help the overall precision of the handling of the machine.
Tip - If after refurbishing the swing arm bushes the handling is still less than perfect check the steering head adjustment. Too loose and it can be felt when braking, too tight and the machine will be prone to weaving.
