Suzuki GV1400GC CAVALCADE 1986 (G) USA (E03) information

Honda’s Goldwing was achieving good sales, a fact not unnoticed by Suzuki prompting them to launch the GV1400 Cavalcade in 1985. The V-4 1360ccc DOHC 16-valve engine gave 112hp @7000rpm. It needed every bit of power the engine could muster, weighing as it did 349kg (dry!). The LXE version an even more impressive 395kg with a full tank of petrol.

This was the most powerful touring machine available at that time, and only about 9000 machines wee produced. The well made and durable machine can easily cover in excess of 200,000 KM without problems, and is highly thought of today, those still existing are treasured by their owners.

The model bowed out almost unnoticed in 1990.
