It is fair to say front fork assembly takes a lot of punishment, working hard all the time as they do causing bush wear, stanchions chipped or corroding, spring weakening and tired dampers. All in all a bit of a nightmare?
And, if the machine has been involved in a collision, add bent fork-tubes that list!
