The inlet manifold needs to be in good shape with no damage, especially on the inner face where gas flow is so vital for top performance. They degrade with temperature extremes over time and renewal is often the only way to achieve perfect carburettor balance.

hI! (sorry for my bad english...) I received the item last thursday (28 Feb) because of a delay with italian carrier (TNT-Bartolini...) I haven't yet mount the pipe on the bike...I gave it to my mechanic...he think it's ok...Maybe, I will be more accurate in a few days...sorry!

Those intakes - I overall bought four of them - fit perfectly to my 32 year old bike. Had to exchange due to the old parts were worn.
