Suzuki AN250 information
Introduced in 1998 the Burgman 250 or Skywave as it is known in Japan was and is one of Suzuki’s most popular scooters’s.
Being quite a bit lighter than it’s 400cc sibling, it can be ridden comfortably by riders of a smaller stature, including women.
It’s SOHC four valve fuel injected engine is a delight, and performs much better than the 23hp output might lead you to believe. This is due to a clever design keeping the weight down to a respectable 158kg.
The style of these models was ground breaking when first introduced in 1998, and re-invented the whole scooter philosophy; Now attracting customers that may not otherwise have considered two wheeled transport. Older borne again riders who just wanted to get back on to a bike, without all the hassle of gearing up with leathers, and dealing with uncomfortable 175mph sports machines!
