It is usual to renew both inlet and Exhaust valves when rebuilding the engine. Make sure you specify these correct specification valves, both for reliability, correct materials and the confidence that you are fitting the best possible parts.

    weak valve stem tip

I rebuilt my engine in jan. of 2019 and also fitted 8 new valves and had a machine shop check the guides and cut the seats in properly. They were sealing great.
Recently I when taking off the tappet cover i discovered that 2 of the 4 exhaust valves were badly damaged. Also one new intake valve already looked slightly worn. The other 5 valves stem tips look fine.
The bad valve stem tips almost looked like mushrooms, i had to cut them off in order to remove them through the valve guides. (No excessive guide clearance and no wear on the valve stems could be found)
Since I was setting the same clearance on each valve, before and after the rebuild, I conclude that it must be due to a material or hardening error.
I also had another look over the old valve tips (ran 41 000 km) and they looked pristine. The ones from 2019 were in service for about 20 000 km only!!

I would definitely rethink buying new ones if it isn't 100% necessary because it seems like they are not of the same quality.
