When re-building any four-stroke engine replacement of the valves is a sensible precaution. The Exhaust Valve has a particularly hard life and can go brittle with the high temperatures leading to a Valve stem failure! This is a disaster for the engine allowing the Valve head and piston to destroy each other!

I purchased 4 exhaust valves for the Restoration of my 1969 CB175 "K3".
Total frame up rebuild and Motor Rebuild. The Pistons (2) and these Intake Valves (2) and Exhaust Valves (2)are perfect. Thanks to CMS, my motorcycle runs like new after sitting in a garage for 42 years, with an OBVIOUS change in horse-power and timing. Very very pleased. Perfect!! Ted
