I purchased this product because my old wire housing was cracked due to old age. The grey housing is a close enough shade to match for me. The housing is more oval and bigger looking but does fit through grommets. I used the original switch parts and did not use the new ones so can not comment on those...although some are a bit different than original internals. *Make sure to take switch apart carefully so internals (spring, clip, contact board, switch base) dont fall all out...will make it easier to put back together correctly.
I do wish the gray sleeve was round, closer to the look of original.
