How do I get the existing lock and/or key out of my Honda's top-box given that half the key is jammed in the lock (flush with the keyhole front?

Hi Stephen,
have you tried supergluing the top part of the broken key to the trapped bit ? Alternatively try a very narrow tweezers, you might just get just enough grip to pull it out a little, then you can grip it with fingers or pliers. A magnet is wort a try also, the type that comes on a telescopic rod (like an old type car aerial) is usually small enough to get right up in contact with the trapped bit of the key.

Hi Stephen,
In this video a locksmith demonstrates how to remove a broken key from the lock.
