The key to any successful carburettor overhaul is to renew as many of the jets and these Japanese engineered Screw Sets and their springs as possible - the old springs will have weakened, the old adjustment set screw worn with possibly damaged threads, making it difficult to keep the carburettor in tune.
Order new carburettor seals and gaskets at the same time. Consider new throttle cables as well!
