Subject: wiring in the magneto resistor

can anyone tell me the correct way to wire in the magneto resistor on a suzuki sp370?
l know that the white/blue wire connects to the white/blue wire from the loom. l think that the green/white wire connects with a ring connector to the upper mounting screw of the resistor but l am not sure about this.
