Overhauling the throttle body assemblies is normal and necessary with the high mileage (kilometers covered) with the (superb!) sports-touring type of machine this item fits. Overhauling for reliability and aesthetics will be better served by replacing as many of the old, worn parts as possible - even new fasteners look better than the old dull or corroded items.
