Fine handling depends primarily on the precise location of the swing-arm; the suspension linkage bushes, arms, bearings, various pivot points and of course the suspension unit itself.
Play or looseness in just one element of the assembly can result in the machine weaving or wagging its tail under power, or even worse, when shutting off the power.
