Overhauling the clutch assembly, particularly on high torque engines, should be part of an overall strategy, including new pressure plates, clutch springs and, importantly, friction discs, along with the other clutch parts prone to excessive wear.
The more worn and damage prone parts that are replaced with new, the less worries for premature clutch failure or a clutch that does not operate quite as nicely as it did when the machine was new.
