It really is worth replacing this item whenever you service or overhaul your braking system, it does not cost much, and even a barely visible pin prick may allow air bubbles to form and give the impression of spongy brakes!
For the rest of your brake components and consumables, take a look at the online 'parts list' fiche for your model, and specify a multiple order for all the parts you need to complete the job. Ultimately saving money on shipping costs, and time in your garage, when you find you overlooked a small but essential component!

Perfect Replacement

Discerning restorers are always examining every detail of their projects as they build or repair their machines. Restoring a bike that is 40+ years old means that any rubber parts should be getting extra scrutiny. The front hydraulic brake system is no exception. This replacement master cylinder reservoir cover diaphragm is a perfect replacement for the original unit. At this price, it would be a shame to cut corners and not replace the old (and possibly deteriorated) part. Details like this make the difference between an average restoration and a great one!
