I ordered these in 2018, as I had to replace the final drive dampers in my 1987 built Honda VFR400R NC24. I guess the ones that were in there were still the original ones, which were more than 30 years old. My final drive had severe play. Compared to the new ones, the old ones were significantly smaller and almost as hard as a brick. Furtheremore, all the small connections between the two rubber blocks these parts are made of were broken.
The new ones perfectly fit and after installing them, there was no more play in the final drive, but good dampening of any load changes while driving. That's exactly what it should be.
Until now, I can't say anything about the durability, of course, but I don't expect these to fail early.
