It is fair to say front fork assembly's take a lot of punishment, working hard all the time as they do causing bush wear, stanchions chipped or corroding, spring weakening and tired dampers. All in all a bit of a nightmare? And if the machine has been involved in a collision add bent fork-tubes that list!
